The Salida Steeler Jags Youth Football & Cheer Organization is a Character Matters program. We understand the lessons football can teach a child, here we promote the importance of working hard and perseverance all in the boundaries of safety.  Adversity is a normal facet of life and what better way is there to prepare the next generation of youth by teaching them the values of working hard, smart, and as a team in the wonderful sport of football. We believe winning is the result of preparation of the fundamentals in practice and the united effort of the team.

Our goal is to prepare your child to become a better athlete by teaching the concepts and fundamentals of the game of football, while equipping them to be better at everything they do in life.
